There is a story that surrounds the Shaman Stones. It is a story of friendship between an artist-musician friend, Jacques Pasture, and myself.

We met every Friday for coffee and philosophical discussions at a local restaurant. On his 50th birthday he was told that he had inoperable cancer, both lungs and his liver were affected. He had three months to live, or with treatment, his life could be extended to six months. We continued to see each other every Friday for as long as he felt well enough to drive. The chemo-therapy took its toll with loss of appetite and hair, however, his spirit remained hopeful.
