Relationship is the focal point for these stories. Relationships I’ve had, imagine I’ve had, or hope to have. I write a story to explore, appreciate, and if necessary fabricate what I’m learning about myself as I interact with people. Writing is a struggle. Some of my lessons have been hard, even painful, still I enjoy the process of examining my decisions. The consequences are the life I now live. What a great incentive! Creating a good story is also a healthy way for me to re-experience a relationship: being in it and removed at the same time. Written as a story, with an antagonist, protagonist, and a plot, not only can I go deeper into that relationship but I can also change the ending.
